My behavioural assessment service offers an in-depth, holistic evaluation of your dog’s behaviour and the world they live in. This isn’t just about addressing isolated behaviours - it’s about understanding the why behind them. If we simply jump in and try to 'train' away the external behaviours causing problems, we will miss the contributing factors that are driving that behaviour - without addressing those, your success at changing what's happening is likely to be more of a struggle and less successful.
Together, we’ll explore:
🐕🦺Your dog’s unique history, personality, and daily life
🧩Behavioural patterns at home, on walks, and in new or challenging environments
😟Contributing factors like stress, diet, routine, physical discomfort, and communication breakdowns
🐕Gait, posture, and movement – assessing for physical contributors to behaviour
👨👩👧👦 Home dynamics, family interactions, and any potential areas within relationships that may be preventing progress
Whether you and your dog's are struggling to navigate reactivity, general anxiety, environmental sensitivity, over arousal or fear related difficulties, this assessment provides a deep dive into the root causes - not just the symptoms.
Get to the root of your dog's behaviour with insight, compassion, and a plan that works.

🫂One month’s free access to my coaching membership group for support and access to 100s of resources
Pre-Consult Requirements: You would need to provide me with some detailed information ahead of our consult call together - to make sure I'm able to complete a full review and get a better idea of why these problems are happening and the best way of working to resolve them for you. This will include completion of a detailed pre-consult questionnaire and submission of some short video clips – details of what to send will be provided when you sign up.
Your Progress Plan: An assessment consultation includes an initial training plan for you to implement, so you should start seeing positive improvements straight away. It also includes details of what your progress plan will look like going forward, but as this is contingent on how your initial training plan progresses, it’s not necessarily a definitive plan.
Your Support: An assessment consultation doesn’t include personal 1-1 support from me following our consultation, but does include one month’s support via my Adopters Coaching Group where you will have access to myself & my qualified support trainers. Most problematic behaviours, especially fearfulness & reactivity, can take several weeks/months before you start seeing lasting changes in behaviour (depending on each dog as an individual) so we will also discuss ongoing support options available to you during our call together.
You'll come away with clear insights, an understanding of what's driving your dog's behaviour, compassionate guidance, and a practical plan on how best to support lasting change - all tailored to your dog as an individual and your life together. 🥰

No - all behavioural assessments are delivered remotely via Zoom. This allows for flexible, calm, and accessible support regardless of location. Many dogs actually show more of their natural behaviour when not in the presence of a stranger, which can lead to a more accurate understanding.
You’ll receive one month’s free access to my coaching membership, which includes a wide range of practical resources, training guides, and qualified professional support from myself and my support trainers. Ongoing 1-1 support from me personally is only available through a premium coaching package, which we’ll talk about at the end of your assessment if it feels like the right next step for you and your dog.
Yes - this assessment is designed to explore the whole picture, so whether your dog is showing signs of reactivity, overwhelm, shutdown, sensitivity to people/movement/sounds, or general behavioural confusion, we can uncover what’s really going on and how to move forward with clarity and care.
Yes absolutely - the behavioural assessment can be a standalone session. It’s designed to give you clear insights and actionable steps even if you choose not to continue with further support.
