The What, When, Where, & How of Rebalancing

How stress recovery works and practical rebalancing techniques that support every dog, whatever else you're working on.

Workshop Summary

This is a workshop recording from our Adopters Coaching Group Resource Library

Stress, excitement, arousal, and anxiety are all a part of life, there’s no getting away from it - but when we know how to support our dogs, we can help minimise the effect of activated nervous systems & help them develop their own coping skills for navigating life’s ups & downs.

During this interactive workshop we did a deep dive into what rebalancing is in relation to different emotions (fear, arousal, worry, excitement etc.) the different scenario's our dogs may need help to rebalance in, and how we can implement different rebalancing strategies.

Whilst 'rebalancing' itself is fairly straight forward in terms of knowing what we are looking to achieve by doing it - the HOW can look different depending on your dog as an individual and the circumstances you are rebalancing from.

I have included in the workshop things like:
✅ When might your dog need active rebalancing over passive rebalancing.
✅ What situations or events may need more rebalancing than others - relative to your dog as an individual.
✅ Why some rebalancing strategies may work better for your dog than others.
✅ What strategies can you integrate into daily life to help your dog learn to improve their ability to naturally rebalance.

This is super valuable topic to understand for anyone who lives with dogs because it's going to come up at some point no matter what.

For our sensitive & highly astute natural world dogs, this is something we really need to understand the complexities of, because it may look very different depending on the situation and contributing factors for that individual dog.

I hope you enjoy the workshop. 😁
