The Power of PPPs for Resolving Problems - Private Workshop

WORKSHOP RECORDING: From the Adopters Coaching Group on how Understanding PPPs can help you resolve problems & support your Romanian dogs

Workshop Summary

A recording of our June workshop all about PPPs!

What's covered in the Workshop:
☑️ What are PPPs?
☑️ Why are they so important to us and to our dogs?
☑️Why do you need to know about them?
☑️When to use them and when they can be gamechangers
☑️ When not to use them, avoid or prevent the development of them
☑️ Why you might change them and how

As always, this information is relative to all dogs, but especially our Romanian and overseas dogs!

Understanding how PPP's play a part in your dog’s instinctive behavioural choices and how they navigate the world can increase your understanding of how you can set your dog up better based on their own unique perspective of the world.

Understanding how PPPs work can also help you learn to utilize existing ones or adjust them to achieve different outcomes. These kinds of things can be a gamechanger in how easy or difficult your dog finds it to learn or do the things you need them to in their new life with you.  Whilst we cannot always completely resolve or change our dog’s behaviour, any more than we can completely transform a human’s personality or character traits, learning about how your dog learns is something that can absolutely help you achieve progress!

As I go through this presentation you will realise, especially if you have been in the group or working with me for a while, a lot of familiarity in what I’m going to share with you.   There is a LOT of information in my courses & teaching guides that are reliant on PPPs!

So, this information is no magic wand! Trust me when I tell you there really isn’t one of those anywhere, but the understanding of how dogs as a species experience the world & situations around them IS YOUR KEY TO UNLOCKING THE ANSWERS.

Meesh Masters

Hello! My name is Meesh Masters, founder and business owner of The Dog’s Point of View. I've been working with dogs in a professional capacity for over 20 years, with over 10 years working exclusively with Romanian and overseas rescue dogs and their families. My mission is to help adopters and canine professionals truly understand and support these more naturally evolved dogs through one-to-one consultations, home study courses, webinars, workshops, and my Adopters Coaching Group - the leading online resource for Romanian and overseas rescue dog support.

My journey with natural world dogs began in 2015 when I started fostering and supporting new adopters. It quickly became clear that Romanian dogs were different from UK-born dogs. Their lineage - shaped by street life and natural selection - means they rely heavily on instinct and don’t always respond to conventional training methods.

Learning to work with them in a way that respected their nature changed everything for me, and I’ve been sharing that knowledge ever since.

Today, I’m proud to be Patron of Cloud K9 Rescue and Annie’s Trust and provide advice to several other rescue organisations. I also run the Romanian Rescue Pro Trainers Program for qualified trainers to learn more about working with overseas rescues.

Everything I do is focused on working holistically to support both the human and canine ends of the lead. I use only fear free, force free, and positive reinforcement approaches and my goal is always to help adopters and professionals both understand, and work with the true nature of these amazing dogs - in a way that aligns with who and how they are as individuals, rather than ignoring or trying to suppress what makes them who they are.
